Personal:

I have four (soon to be five) cute kids. And I have some rockin short green racing shorts- I wear them mainly because it embarrasses my wife so much. I like ultimate frisbee, trail running, reading, and cheering for the Denver Broncos!   And I have the absolute best wife in the world.  And I proudly run for the national Team Pearl Izumi- Ultra!

AM- ran the roads around home with Jason. About 13 miles. Good to catch up. Clocked the 11th mile at 7:11, so we weren't going too slow.

Lunch- 10 with a big group of 9. Knee isn't great. But the conversation is always crazy.

PM- busy day so missed morning and lunch run. Jim ended up busy all day, too, so we hooked up for a 5 pm run. Did the GE trails twice, plus a track loop, with the last 3 miles after dark which made it a bit exciting. Saw 2 people and 1 deer the whole time.

Lunch- Finally made it back to a 10 mile run. Felt fine- still have knee pain, but not getting worse. I think there were 10 of us today, which we think is a record for most guys on a run in November when it is low 30's temp. But who's keeping track. It's fun to run with a group that big.

PM- Paris Mtn with Barry and the Honnette's. A bit cold, 35 deg when we started, but I dressed appropriately. Started at the middle lot as Barry and I didn't want the full loop. Ended up doing 7 miles, no watch- I actually felt great the whole time with no knee pain. I even sang a bunch of Christmas carols (to the chagrin of my run-mates). Running leaf covered trails at night for the first time in two months was a bit of an ankle turner, though.

Lunch- The very hard morning rain stopped just in time for the lunch run, which was fortuitous as 40 deg and rainy isn't the most enjoyable weather. Nice 7 miles then a bit of xt.
