Personal:

I have five cute kids. And I have some rockin short green racing shorts- I wear them mainly because it embarrasses my wife so much. I like ultimate frisbee, trail running, reading, and cheering for the Denver Broncos!   And I have the absolute best wife in the world.  And I used to run for the now-disbanded national Team Pearl Izumi- Ultra!

AM- thunderstorms predicted for noon so I assumed no frisbee. I ran in the morning. Planned on 8 and wasn't going real fast (7:45-8:00) but felt fine so did 10

Lunch- rains held off so we played frisbee. 13 people, evenly matched game made more adventuresome by the blusstery winds. Fun times. My team went down 2-3 but then scored 3 straight to win.

PM- PM with Seth, Barry, and Aaron. We even ran into Carl, who we used to run with years ago, out walking with his toddler son. I felt lightheaded and terrible the first 30 min, then ok, then great on miles 6-8, then ok again. Tired by the end. Perfect running weather- mid-70's, sunny, a little breeze. Glorious.

Lunch- frisbee 7 people, so we stuck the 3 fastest on one team, including me. Fun time, lots of running. Great weather, no wind. We ended up winning 5-4. 5v5 is better, though, or 6v6.

AM- 10 miles. Started 8, but the bulk of the run was 7:45-7:30 pace. I think I even threw a 7:20 in there. Smokin'. 60 deg and a bit breezy. Perfect weather. And I ran the GE trail without seeing any turkeys.

AM- 6 at 7:40-7:20 pace

Lunch- frisbee. Rather windy, made it interesting. My team had 6 and the other had 7 most of the time, which ended up even, but they one of ours left so we did 6-6. Not even anymore, we won 5-0.
