Did about 7.5 or 8 medium pace miles with Paul winding through Providence.  Then I ran the landfill loop by myself.  It was hot and I was pretty tired by the end.  I figured I was about 13 miles and was curious what I could do when tired, so I ran a final mile on the track.  Splits were 1:42, 1:39, 1:36, and 1:33.  Total of 6:31 mile, which was pretty good since I was running very relaxed, not pushing too hard, plus it was hot and at the end of a good run.  Good run today.

6.5 easy miles with Paul and James around south Logan.  First time I had run with those two together.  Looking forward to my vacation, especially after the hectic day at work today.

http://www.cnn.com/2007/TECH/space/05/02/derailment.shuttle/index.html That is my rocket that derailed, plus I know the people who got hurt.  Not a fun experience.  My group is in charge of the rail cars, too.

4 easy miles at 7:30 pace.  I leave tomorrow on my 2 week vacation but I will try to report on my runs when I get back.  I hope to be ~60+ miles each week, though I think my long runs won't be as long.

Ran 20 miles with James, from mile 1.5 on TOU to my house.  Good run, nice weather, but we somehow ran right by our second water stop (gatorade on the side of the road).  All miles were between 6:50 to 7:12 pace, with a 7:06 average.  Not bad for the first 20 miler of the year.  Time 2:22

Leaving on vacation now.  Thanks for the run today, James, and good luck to all at Ogden marathon.
