Personal:

I have five cute kids. And I have some rockin short green racing shorts- I wear them mainly because it embarrasses my wife so much. I like ultimate frisbee, trail running, reading, and cheering for the Denver Broncos!   And I have the absolute best wife in the world.  And I used to run for the now-disbanded national Team Pearl Izumi- Ultra!

Frisbee Monday- gorgeous weather. Nice game of 6 vs 6. We were down 2-1, then scored 4 straight to win. Then I switched teams and we did a game to 3 of 4 vs 4. My team won 3-1. Wind was a bit funky today, adding some adventure.

AM- bike then 4 miles running. Most in 3 months, felt generally ok. I got 7 hours of sleep last night, my first time over 5 hours in a week.

Same as yesterday. Felt generally ok- ran the 4 miles in 32 minutes. I'll run a bit less tomorrow, want to not rush anything. I'm in the for the long view here (30+ years).

Bike then just 2 miles run. Don't want to push it too much, plus have to be rested for frisbee tomorrow.

Lunch- frisbee on a gorgeous day, although the play was pretty sloppy today for no apparent reason- lots of bad throws and drops. Me included. For the final game, my team went down 1-3, then scored 3 straight, then it was all tied 4-4, then we pulled out the last point and won. It wasn't pretty, though. Oh yeah, and my ankle got smashed, twice. It looks pretty terrible and is very sore/stiff.
