I have five cute kids. And I have some rockin short green racing shorts- I wear them mainly because it embarrasses my wife so much. I like ultimate frisbee, trail running, reading, and cheering for the Denver Broncos!   And I have the absolute best wife in the world.  And I used to run for the now-disbanded national Team Pearl Izumi- Ultra!

No running again this week, but lots of XT plans (kettle bell training, bike, frisbee, spin class, abs).  6 miles xt today.

Well, I had better than 50% odds of getting into MMT 100, and I didn't.  In face, I'm 3/4 of the way down the wait list.  With an entrants field of 205, I'm number 142 on the wait list.  That doesn't look promising.  At least I can start planning my 2013 schedule now, even if I didn't get either of the 100's I wanted.  Maybe I should run Leona Divide to try racing my way into Western.

I'm going to steal a line from Jake...

Looks like a sorority babe getting ready for Spring Break workout.

No tanning bed?

The kettle ball sounds a little more crossfit than sorority girl.

Sorry you didn't get into those 100s. So what's your Plan B?

Dunno, Jake. Gotta work on ideas now.

You have unfinished business at Pocatello plus it can be the rematch of LPR 2012. Joe and I are in for sure. It's no 100 but still dang awesome

From Dale on Tue, Dec 11, 2012 at 10:53:26 from 69.10.215.11

Sounds like you should try for the Barkley 100. With all that negative karma to offset, you should be a shoo-in.

From Jon on Tue, Dec 11, 2012 at 19:09:45 from 107.203.52.135

Cody and Dale, those are both great ideas. Cody, I'd be interested in Poky during my summer trip this year except school isn't out yet. Dale... I might just look into the Barkley marathons...

your wife hasn't talked you into UTMB yet?

From Jon on Wed, Dec 12, 2012 at 19:44:22 from 107.203.52.135

Justin- she tried, but it's a no-go this year with a small baby. Maybe next year.
