Personal:

I have five cute kids. And I have some rockin short green racing shorts- I wear them mainly because it embarrasses my wife so much. I like ultimate frisbee, trail running, reading, and cheering for the Denver Broncos!   And I have the absolute best wife in the world.  And I used to run for the now-disbanded national Team Pearl Izumi- Ultra!

Lunch- played Ultimate frisbee for the first time since the rib injury. Skills had slipped a bit and I couldn't run quite as much as usual, but still so much fun. If I could play ultimate more and run less, I wouldn't complain. Fun sport.

My brother-in-law coaches the Ultimate team at the Air Force Academy. Apparently it's a pretty serious club sport at a lot of schools. Especially among white guys.

Do you play?

When I lived in Logan after college, I played 2-5 times a week. I would frequently wake up early on Saturday mornings, go for a 20 mile trail run, then immediately play ultimate for 2+ hours. Ahh, to be young and energetic again. This didn't stop until Marci was pregnant with our second kid. It's fun to be able to play for a few hours a week again.

I was on a team from my fraternity house that won the intramural championship. It is a fun sport. There is a group that plays at lunch in the park by our offices a couple of times a week. I have thought about trying to join them, just never have taken the opportunity.

I love running. But more ultimate and less running sounds like heaven. Great sport.

My roommate is on University of Alabama's traveling ultimate team.
