I have five cute kids. And I have some rockin short green racing shorts- I wear them mainly because it embarrasses my wife so much. I like ultimate frisbee, trail running, reading, and cheering for the Denver Broncos!   And I have the absolute best wife in the world.  And I used to run for the now-disbanded national Team Pearl Izumi- Ultra!

Hey, cool. Yeah, that was Mid Mountain marathon, 2008, I think. Good race. Also a fan of Jupiter Steeplechase- you gonna try some, Jake?

I will admit, the shorts are ugly but very, very easy to pick out in pictures. Even on a page with hundreds of race photo in thumbnail size, I can easily see them.

I'm not planning to do any trail races, but I am really looking forward to some cool trail runs this summer. We're planning to run w/ Rob's XC kids one night a week @ Alta... in a month Andrea and I are headed to southern utah and we have some good ideas for fun trail linkups in Zion and Bryce... and then we're going to Jackson too, so there will be some cool opportunities. I'd like the run the mid mountain trail this summer too... I biked it last year and the whole time I thought "I suck at biking, I could run this faster!"

Yeah, during the marathon I ran down some bikes and my pace car (biker) had to shoo them out of the way. While going downhill.
