Race report is posted on my Greenshortsrunning blog.

On a related note, the race series between Cody and myself ended up being 58 miles over two races- Logan Peak and El Vaquero Loco.  In the end, Cody won the series by 5 seconds.  Total.  That's 0.09 seconds per mile difference.  Congrats, Cody.  Did we decide on an award/punishment?

Congrats on the superb race! What a way to mark your departure. A 14 second difference really shows how hard you two pushed each other!

From Walter on Sun, Aug 15, 2010 at 12:43:28 from 24.10.169.110

Congrats on a great race you mountain man you! Nicely done.

Nicely done. Good luck with the PF and new job.

From Dale on Sun, Aug 15, 2010 at 14:37:27 from 69.10.215.11

Nice. I'm thinking since you split the races, a run-off is in order.

From Cody on Sun, Aug 15, 2010 at 14:50:25 from 174.52.244.185

Awesome Race Jon. Way to push through the pain and set a "non-Luke" course record.

As for the punishment (and no, Dale that is not an even split I won by a whopping margin of 14 seconds. Not even close at all)....

I think you should mow my lawn in your green shorts...

From Jon on Sun, Aug 15, 2010 at 14:53:30 from 174.19.181.220

Deal- I'll mow it for all of September and October.

From Cody on Sun, Aug 15, 2010 at 15:01:50 from 174.52.244.185

Hmmm, bad plan. Mowing my lawn while you are in South Carolina may prove difficult. Maybe another idea is in order.

From Dale on Sun, Aug 15, 2010 at 16:56:57 from 69.10.215.11

Perhaps a forced rewrite of his blog title until a rematch occurs? Something like "P0wned by Cody"

14s = one potty stop too many.

Nice race and nice report. Sounds like quite a course...maybe I'll run that one someday. Congratulations!

From Bryce on Tue, Aug 17, 2010 at 00:01:45 from 174.52.190.220

Jon, once again a great race. It was pretty cool having a front row seat to watch you guys hammer those first climbs, amazing. Great report, good to chat at the finish. Those hills around Logan are going to see alot less wear and tear in a few days. Best wishes on the move. See you at the park you bright and early in September.

Good job Jon.

Nice job jon - cool report. Congrats on such a strong race. That's great that your foot didn't cause you issues, here's hoping it remains a non-issue.
