AM slow 3 mile run (9 to 8:30 pace, though felt slower). It may not be much, but it's my first Saturday run since February, and my longest of the year. How things have changed from 3 years ago.

Good news.

I've been on the blog since late 2011/early 2012 and I believe you have had that same profile pic and JUST TONIGHT did I realize who that fella is in the middle. I have seen a less flattering photo from that same trip but never made the connection. I had to zoom to confirm.

Jason, yes, that's Cody, Rob, and me. If Rob looks bad, it's cause he had run longer (time, not distance) than ever before in his life. And we still had to turn around and go back. I have a pic of him with a mile to go, sitting down, head in hands, exhausted. But he made it all 48 miles.

Still bummed that I missed that run with you three.

I thought for sure I had read that report, but I think Rob had that as his profile photo for a while and maybe that is why it is familiar. I knew that was Cody as I have been following him on Strava, but also didn't realize until I zoomed. Amazing stuff, particularly given that I understand there are great temp fluctuations (never mind the distance and elevation changes).
