I have five cute kids. And I have some rockin short green racing shorts- I wear them mainly because it embarrasses my wife so much. I like ultimate frisbee, trail running, reading, and cheering for the Denver Broncos! And I have the absolute best wife in the world. And I used to run for the now-disbanded national Team Pearl Izumi- Ultra!
AM- 4.5 miles before both hips really hurt, then 5 elliptical miles. Probably won't run tonight to give them a rest.
Progrid Guide Miles: 4.50

Kami said she saw you at the gym this morning...and you didn't even say Hi! ;-)
Rest the hips and get them well.

Wish you could be down here to train Jon... that's just too much treadmill and elliptical. My hips always kind of bug after a long elliptical session.

Last spring when my problems increased the PT told me to use the theraband for resistance with leg raises- straight legged and clam shell, lying on my side, 2-3 x 15 reps, hold 5 seconds, each leg, couple times a day. I still do this and it has helped my hips and IT a lot. I managed to run a marathon with no hip or IT pain, which killed me in my previous marathon.
