I have five cute kids. And I have some rockin short green racing shorts- I wear them mainly because it embarrasses my wife so much. I like ultimate frisbee, trail running, reading, and cheering for the Denver Broncos!   And I have the absolute best wife in the world.  And I used to run for the now-disbanded national Team Pearl Izumi- Ultra!

Planetwalk- pretty fast pace.  First 2 miles in 13:42, second 2 miles in 12:50.  Felt good. 

My plan is to do ~35 miles this week and next week, bump it up ~10 miles per week for the next 2 weeks of December, then do 50-60 all through January.  That way I should be in ok shape when Striders starts.

Hey- you, Paul, and Logan need to back me up once in a while on this whole deal with people recording runs like 10.01 miles and 3.435987654321 miles. We need to re-educate people on how to round numbers. Or they could do something like I do at times, and stop running when I hit 10 miles if that is what I am trying to run. Take a look at the mileage board if you don't believe how bad it is getting.

Sounds like a good plan. I'm glad you are getting back into it. Similar to what I did but I started back in Sept. Now my plan is to be in the 70-80 Dec/Jan and see what Feb/March bring for me... I may try and make it up for one of the Striders races but I'm not 100% sure yet. I'll let you know as I'm looking forward to racing with you again.
