I have five cute kids. And I have some rockin short green racing shorts- I wear them mainly because it embarrasses my wife so much. I like ultimate frisbee, trail running, reading, and cheering for the Denver Broncos!   And I have the absolute best wife in the world.  And I used to run for the now-disbanded national Team Pearl Izumi- Ultra!

PM- Paris Mountain.  I love this mountain- I've told Marci that if she cares about me at all, she'll make sure we buy a house near there (hint, hint, no pressure!).  Only me second trail run in 4 weeks, though the other one was a bit long.  Lots of hikers and bikers, including some bikers after dark wearing lights.  10 miles, 1700 ft climbing.  Unfortunately, the time off didn't help my Achilles- it hurt as bad as it did before the Bear, which is a bit annoying.  At least it doesn't hurt on flat runs.  It just has to get through the Grand Canyon, then I'll give it a bit of rest.

Jon, I can't believe your Achilles is still bothering you! I mean really, you only ran 100 miles across a bunch of mountains two weeks ago. No big. hehe. GC should be mostly flat I would think, other than actually getting into and out of the canyon (kind of a big "other than," though). I'm sorta mad I have school. You're going to love it.

Good point, Joe. Err, points. Yeah, other than getting in and out, Monday should be easy.

You can still skip class. After all, you can go to class anytime, but how often can you run all the way across the Grand Canyon in a day?
