I like ultimate frisbee, trail running, reading, and cheering for the Denver Broncos!   And I have the absolute best wife in the world.  And I used to run for the now-disbanded national Team Pearl Izumi- Ultra!

PM- Medium workout.  Ran on a course I haven't done for a long time due to my foot bruise- the canal.  4 miles warmup, then 4 miles of ~tinman tempo pace, 4 miles cooldown.  First 2 tempo miles were 12:44, next 2 were 12:10.  Legs felt ok, still a bit fatigued from Tuesday's workout, no problems with my bruise (thankfully).  Today was the last workout of any sort- I have a small workout with 2 CV miles Monday, but that is all.  Next stop: St. George! 12 miles, 1:21:18

Glad to hear you were a little tired from Tuesday too. I thought I was just being a wimp.

See ya down here! I'm pumped to see how well your going to race.

Paul- I'll sponsor you to catch a ride down with Jon and you can stay here and just be my support guy before the race... mental, physical, mostly mental. What do ya say? $$$ plus room and board? I'll even throw in one more perk. You can man the Fastrunningblog booth at the expo. Hum?

Clyde - if I were a single, childless dude I would be there in a second. Same thing for pacing Michelle. Sounds like lots of fun and I can't wait to see how everyone does, but my place next weekend is at home with my wife and kid. Perhaps I can convince them to take a January vacation to St. George to run Painters.

I tried to get him to come, too, Clyde. No dice.
