I like ultimate frisbee, trail running, reading, and cheering for the Denver Broncos!   And I have the absolute best wife in the world.  And I used to run for the now-disbanded national Team Pearl Izumi- Ultra!

I just noticed I am finally on the first page of the mileage board for miles this year- yeah!  And I am within 20 miles of my total miles for last year... and it's still August!

I'm pretty confident you'll get those 20 miles and a few more before the end of the year. Your training and racing has been really great this year. I'm excited to see what you can do at St. George this year.

Great race yesterday and I saw you in the papers today and if Teron Jameson wouldnt have thrown a fit I wouldnt have lost my "veteran marathoner" status up there. Now us SLC runners all look like money grubbers! You made me proud! I hope to be able to run with you in SG! Ive got my work cut out. I was going to comment on you when I saw you how much weight you look like youve lost. I know thats not that important for guys as it is for girls but you are turning into a lean racing machine this year! Keep it up!

Walter- yeah, I keep dropping weight. Lightest since high school, now. 35 pounds lighter than Christmas 2006.

Yeah, its gonna help you being a bit thinner. You looked like Dave Holt ahead of me. You ran that race with conviction! I still have stomach issues today! I dont know what the heck is wrong. I had the same problem at Provo half. I felt so good on that course and then my stomach was the only thing that slowed me down. I know I would have been up by sasha for sure.
