PM- 8 with Aaron.

63.5 miles in the past 3 days, and 123.5 in the past 6.  I'm pretty sure both are records for me.

20 miles a day becomes pretty routine after about a year of it :-)

Well after doing 100's, a marathon becomes kind of the equivalent of a 5K, right?...don't really taper for those, other than run easy the day before.

From Rob Murphy on Thu, Jul 26, 2012 at 11:24:01 from 24.10.249.165

Yep, 18 miles isn't much of a taper.

By the way Jon, over on my Deseret News race report you'll see that Jake took another one of his gratuitous slams at ultra runners.

You are such a trouble-maker, Rob.

Jon - you'll like this... it obviously can't happen this year (b/c we are going to run out of vacation days)... but Andrea wants to do the Trans-Rockies stage race next year. We're going to try and get Saucony to sponsor a team (the entry fees are outrageous).

From Jon on Thu, Jul 26, 2012 at 19:36:08 from 74.177.97.254

Exactly right, Paul- one day easy, that's it.

Rob- thanks for the heads up. Been too busy to comment on most of the Des News reports, though I did read a few of the marathons and read about the short "10k".

Jake- Never heard anything but rave reviews of Trans-Rockies.
