Late, late night with the kids means no morning run. I'm not sure when the last time was I got more than 5 or 6 hours of sleep- probably July 4 weekend.

PM- 7 miles, 4 potty breaks.  One of those days.  But even though I felt crappy (pun intended), I still had a funny experience.  As I passed a rather slow hispanic runner, he looked at me, reached out his hand, and said "Quiero, quiero".

Ah for newborns....

From Cody on Wed, Jul 23, 2008 at 10:13:05

You sure it wasn't "Te Quiero"? Thats funny. Is 4 stops in 7 miles a PR for stops per mile?

From Jon on Wed, Jul 23, 2008 at 10:50:51

It could have been, Cody. He was out of breath.

If it isn't a record, it's close.

From Paul Petersen on Wed, Jul 23, 2008 at 11:10:07

You just need to tell your kids to go to bed earlier. Rod of discipline, man.

From Jeff (LAD) on Wed, Jul 23, 2008 at 14:38:54

Teach those kids to use an empty water bottle and let it fly on the fly, as it were.

From Jeff (LAD) on Wed, Jul 23, 2008 at 14:39:59

Or did you mean that YOU needed 4 potty breaks? I seriously hope you had the stroller with you.

From Jon on Wed, Jul 23, 2008 at 15:10:37

Jeff, I just know where all the bathrooms are along the way... for me.

From Jeff (LAD) on Wed, Jul 23, 2008 at 16:10:19

4 times in 7 miles? Yikes. I remember, one time, when I was on a run, I had to stop and go to the bathroom ... I think it was at Band Camp.

From Jon on Wed, Jul 23, 2008 at 23:01:43

I probably stop at least 2-3 runs per week. 2 stops in one run isn't uncommon. 4 stops is uncommon, especially in a run that short.
