Lunch- 4 with Jason and Phil.  Almost stopped at 4 miles when they both did- felt bad, very hungry, tired, etc.  But kept going and ran strong, even if I never felt better.  Went another 6 miles on the trails behind GE.  10 total.

It's been a while since I've seen any politics on your blog. Your blog is in danger of becoming like everyone else's. Except for the occasional 100 mile race report.

I decided to spare all of you. Plus, I moved my occasional rantings to my facebook and twitter accounts. Trying to save my poor running friends from my political nuttiness. That being said, government continues to expand and take away our liberties, whether republican or democrats. I'll vote for Ron Paul or no one. That won't change, even if I don't ramble on about it anymore.

True in some ways. Unless your black or a woman. They've been steadily gaining liberties.

There we just went an violated the serenity of your non-political blog.

I'm not on Facebook so I have nowhere else to go.

One of my new favorite things is eating olives. Seriously, I go to the olive bar at Harmon's and get a whole tub of assorted olives. I get cravings and can eat ten or twenty at a time.

Just trying to lighten things up now.

From Jon on Thu, Apr 26, 2012 at 20:36:33 from

Nah, even blacks and women haven't been getting freer. When government does more, everyone loses.

My oldest daughter loves olives. Always has. It's funny.

I could point out that when I was born most black people couldn't even vote in the United States.
