Ran from my house (mile 21.5 on TOU course) back to mile 15.5, then home.  I ran 8:15 miles on the way out, then 7:30 miles on the way home.  While not the fastest times, I am pretty happy for 3 reasons- 1) I was pushing the baby and jogging stroller the whole way  2) It was raining pretty hard for much of the run and was windy, which really slows the stroller down, and 3) the stroller got a flat tire at the turnaround point, meaning I ran 6 miles with a flat tire and increased drag, including the hills on TOU course from miles 18 to 20.  Overall, a good run.

I was wondering how often you take your baby girl on runs with you, and if she is pretty content for long distances?

I got my Omni's online @ rnjsports.com for $65 with shipping. I also got a gift card to sport authority for my B-day from my in-laws and found some Grid Hurricane 8's and Brooks Adrenaline's on a 50% off sale. I have three new pairs of shoes to rotate now, so I am excited about that. I do think that the Omni's are the best of the bunch though.

James

I usually take her once or twice a week- most of the time on 4-8 mile runs. This was my first long (12 mile) run with her, and I think it would have been fine if it weren't so cold out. She cried pretty hard the last 3 miles because she was cold. But she has never cried before on a run- she is pretty mellow and either looks around or sleeps.

I only have 1 road shoe and 1 trail shoe right now, so I need another pair. I agree the Omni 5 is one of the best pairs I have ever owned (along with NB 765).
