AM- planned to run 8, but I felt terrible (no carbs will do that to you) so decided to prolong the terribleness. Ended up going 10 miles. 82 minutes, I think- not speedy.

My company is starting layoffs this month. Hundreds of engineers. My manager took a new position and they can't fill his opening due to hiring freeze. Of the 5 people in my group at my location, one was transferred to a different group a few months ago, and 2 more were notified this week that they are being transferred. Either they are getting rid of my group (only 2 people left, no manager) or I'm going to have to do the work of 2-3 people. Fun.

My wife is trying to figure out what foods keep making her stomach hurt, so she recruited me to join her on Whole 30 diet for a month. No grains, sugars, dairy, etc. Pretty much all we eat is veggies, fruit, protein (meat and eggs), tree nuts, and potatoes. The potluck at church was hard, as is passing up the goodies at work.

Sorry about both the diet and the work situation. I just enjoyed a yummy plate of spaghetti. I'll have double to compensate for your carb boycott.

Best wishes, Jon.

Good luck with your work situation. I've gone through it a few times and I wouldn't wish it on anyone.
