Personal:

I have five cute kids. And I have some rockin short green racing shorts- I wear them mainly because it embarrasses my wife so much. I like ultimate frisbee, trail running, reading, and cheering for the Denver Broncos!   And I have the absolute best wife in the world.  And I used to run for the now-disbanded national Team Pearl Izumi- Ultra!

AM- 9.5 miles running at sub-7:10 pace, including a 1/2 mile hill.  Bit of hip pain.  But it's nice to be running again.

That's really fast. Just curious, what pace do you hope to run for most of Rocky Raccoon, knowing that it is a pretty flat race?

Jun- My plan is to do the first 20 mile loop in 3:00 to 3:15, then likely slow down a bit each lap. That time includes aid stations, pit stops, etc. So that's 9 min pace at the start, which is fairly slow for me.
