I have five cute kids. And I have some rockin short green racing shorts- I wear them mainly because it embarrasses my wife so much. I like ultimate frisbee, trail running, reading, and cheering for the Denver Broncos! And I have the absolute best wife in the world. And I used to run for the now-disbanded national Team Pearl Izumi- Ultra!
PM- 13 miles on the bike and elliptical. No hip pain, but my bum sure is sore from all the time in the saddle that it's not used to.

Nice to hear the hips are healing. I get hip pain now and then, usually the right hip because swing that leg a little wrong. Usually after two weeks it is better. I had a bad case in the left hip from Leadville 100 in 2008. That was a major cause of my DNF there. But again, it healed up in just a couple weeks. Go figure. I've never really determined what makes that flare up.
I guess today is the last day to sign up for RR100. Hmmmm. I could stay at my new relative's home.

I'm 90% sure I'll be at RR with Cody and Paul. We'd love to see you, but is it worth it if you're gimpy?

Well, I signed up after using the "but all my friends are going" line on my wife. Ha, ha. I've got to test my knee out on a long run somehow soon to figure things out before I start signing up for a bunch more races. It could just calm down after 20 miles or it could swell up like a balloon.

Wow, we'll see you there, then. Maybe you'll even beat me!
