I have five cute kids. And I have some rockin short green racing shorts- I wear them mainly because it embarrasses my wife so much. I like ultimate frisbee, trail running, reading, and cheering for the Denver Broncos! And I have the absolute best wife in the world. And I used to run for the now-disbanded national Team Pearl Izumi- Ultra!
AM- 4.5 elliptical miles. After 5 days off, hips are still disappointingly sore. Will schedule doctor's appt today. I'm fearing my chances of running Rocky Raccoon are diminishing with each week I don't run but don't seem to get better.

Yeah, see what that dr says. I personally recommend Dr. Trek Lyons, sports doctor at Intermountain Canyonview Orthopedics. He is the USU team doctor, I believe. He has run marathons, which always helps.

Thanks, Paul. I looked up doctors over the weekend and he's actually the only sports med one in Logan. Good to know you recommend him. I set an appt for tomorrow.

Cool. He's a smart guy. He was actually the first person to suggest that A.S. might be a possibility for me, which is impressive for a sports doctor. The Red Rooster has seen him too.

great you got into Dr. Lyons so early. He is definitely the guy to see. Nathan in PT will have you doing those theraband hip exercises tomorrow I bet, and also fun exercises with rubber bands shackled to your feet. not as fun as running but you will be better in no time. good luck and keep us posted.
