Personal:

I have five cute kids. And I have some rockin short green racing shorts- I wear them mainly because it embarrasses my wife so much. I like ultimate frisbee, trail running, reading, and cheering for the Denver Broncos!   And I have the absolute best wife in the world.  And I used to run for the now-disbanded national Team Pearl Izumi- Ultra!

PM- Made it through the layoffs, fortunately- stressful day.  Matt made it, too.  Thanks for your thoughts, everyone.  Ran 5 miles in the evening in my new shoes (my second pair of XT wings, though this one is 1/2 size larger in case my feet swell during 100's), then 4 miles crosstraining.

I found out im getting laid off on march 1st for one month so they dont have to claim me as a full time employee. Stupid huh? Well, I can get a 120 mile weeks in that month haha Hey who makes the XT wings?

Nice, I was worried for you.

One week to go. I had another 100-mile race dream last night that was pretty crazy. During each leg we had to collect a word somewhere and put the word on a chart at the next aid station. I guess to finish the race we had to have all the words and compose the right sentence. I was getting frustrated with this. Sounds like a silly "Survivor" challenge.
