I felt good today, hardly any soreness, which was good considering I just did a marathon on Saturday.  Oh, wait...  I only did part of the marathon.  That explains it.

2x planet walk with the jogging stroller.  The first 3.5 miles of the run were easy, then I unexpectedly got passed by a lady on rollerblades.  That was no good, so I decided to catch her.  She was moving pretty good- about 6:00 pace.  I chased her to the end, then back again, finally passing her right before the last bridge.  Mission accomplished.  Ran home, then did a 1 mile loop around Providence to make it 7 miles.

I'll bet your the fastest guy in Logan right now.

From Jon on Mon, Oct 08, 2007 at 22:27:18

I hadn't thought of that. Though I did think that this is my best shot to be at the top of the mileage board.

We really should have done that Logan vs St. George cross country race on Saturday afternoon

From James on Tue, Oct 09, 2007 at 00:03:05

I am all about the 2:30 barrier, but I might set some even higher goals too.

Good to see you again, even if it was only for a few minutes at a time.

From Cody on Tue, Oct 09, 2007 at 00:04:58

Jon almost got "chicked" and he is the fastest guy in Logan right now. Not a good day...

I hope you passed her then stopped quickly. I just love it when people do that.

From Bethany on Tue, Oct 09, 2007 at 11:26:47

Poor girl- no idea why this guy was chasing her down. Hope you werent dressed all in black and sneering (no reference to your TOU pic..:)

From marci on Tue, Oct 09, 2007 at 14:32:47

At least you had a jogging stroller, you probably looked less scary.

From Bethany on Tue, Oct 09, 2007 at 16:18:15

Or he is being reported for kidnapping as we speak....

From Jon on Tue, Oct 09, 2007 at 16:32:00

I think it is hard to look scary when you have a 1 year old happily babbling away in the stroller you are pushing...

When you say your wife did St. George a few years ago, do you mean marathon? Well then what is she waiting for? So she'll be in for Moab too right? And the Twilight series.... She's already one marathon ahead of most of us and we know that she has good taste in books soooo, I'll check out her blog tomorrow, sound good! Now, Bethany it's also hard to leave comments on your blog too, mostly because you don't have one!

From Jon on Wed, Oct 10, 2007 at 23:46:58

Marci doesn't have a blog yet. That is why you need to convince her to start. Yes, she did St. George marathon in 2005, and is enjoying Twilight series.

From marci on Thu, Oct 11, 2007 at 16:01:01

okay so maybe i did a marathon in my lifetime but don't ask my time!! and yes i am obsessed with the Twilight series...just started last week and am into the 3rd book. :)
