I have five cute kids. And I have some rockin short green racing shorts- I wear them mainly because it embarrasses my wife so much. I like ultimate frisbee, trail running, reading, and cheering for the Denver Broncos!   And I have the absolute best wife in the world.  And I used to run for the now-disbanded national Team Pearl Izumi- Ultra!

Cody picked me up this morning and had a surprise guest- Walter!  He is in town for the holiday and joined us.  We drove to Millville Canyon and ran the very hilly deer fence trail to Dry Canyon, then back almost to Blacksmith Fork.  About 900 ft elevation gain and 900 loss.  Very nice to run on a dirt road/trail the whole time and it wasn't even too muddy from all the rain.  Lots of cows and cow pies, though.  Nice cool temperature.  Pretty easy pace, plus the hills made for slow going.  13.25 miles, 1:53:05, 8:30 avg.

Look at you and your thumbs up. Cute, It offsets those green shorts;)

Wait, what are you saying about the green shorts??? I think they match my singlet and red shoes perfectly!

It's easy to be happy and give a thumbs up when you slacked off the first 20 miles of the marathon!

No, No, merry christmas to you;)

I know what you mean that is how I felt in UVM. It is fun to run a marathon like that. It reminds us that we actually do like to do this sport and it can be fun. I wish I would have looked like that on that downhill. See I am actually just jealous.

I think the green shorts go with the continued observation that "winter is finally here!"

You really should maybe consider letting your wife dress you from now on Jon. Left a comment for you on my blog. Thanks, Steve.
