AM- 6 slow miles.  Still sore, even after my ice bath last night.

PM- 10 very slow, naked miles on the Logan canyon river trail.  Legs still sore and fatigued.  I almost stepped on a snake just past Spring Hollow campground, and then I saw a moose.  It was maybe 30 yards away, and we both looked at each other for a minute before I continued on my way.  Finished off the run with a 5 minute soak in the cold Logan River.  I'm just hoping to completely recover for the race Saturday.

Nice run... I hear you about still being sore. You got out and did the run and that's great recovery training.

Ice Bath I need one!

That's okay. I'm still sore from my 3.5 mile run on Sunday. Oh, the joys of being 100% out of shape!

Hey no problem on the shower. I wasn't sure if ou stopped by or not. It is a bummer that you don't really get to know half of the team.

Did you make it to the wedding?

From Jon on Tue, Jun 24, 2008 at 16:27:47

Yeah, you usually don't get to know the other half of the team except for some time spent together at the start/finish. It is especially bad if you are the first or last runner in a van, so you can't say "hi" at the major exchanges.

We made it to the luncheon and reception, which wouldn't have happened if I had to stop somewhere else for a shower. Wedding was at 9:30 am, so there was no way I would make that.
