AM- 10

PM- 8+2=10.  60 for the past 3 days, each consisting of a 10 mile morning run and 10 mile lunch workout.  I am nothing if not consistently boring these days.

This month was my highest mileage month ever (436, beating Aug 2009 of 406.5).  And in Sept 2009, I ran my marathon PR, so that's good.  However, my Jun-Jul were much higher in 2009 than this year, so that's not good.

Gotta admit The North Face puts up some awesome video of UTMB.  This video was posted while the race was still going.  Gorgeous, rugged scenery.  I'd love to see the Alps.

yeah, that video is awesome. I've watched it twice now. I have to gloat and say that I've spent a little time in the Alps. They are truly stunning, for sure. Running UTMB or some type of Trans Alp is definitely on my bucket list, and not like when i'm 60.

If that video doesn't make you want to do that race nothing will. Incredible scenery. I did a bike tour last summer there which rode in tandem (sort of) with the Tour de France - climbed a bunch of the famous passes in the Alps on a bike with Mont Blanc ever present in the scenery on one of the rides. Would highly recommend a visit.

Hi Jon, Sorry I haven't checked in recently really nice mileage and congrats on the new month PR. That is a very good increase as well. Looking forward to Sept 24!
